My name is Sarah Were and I am a final-year Physics student at New York University Abu Dhabi, specializing in astrophysics and computational galaxy formation. My primary research focuses on satellite galaxy populations across different dark matter environments and redshifts, using simulation data to understand how galaxies evolve over cosmic time. I also lead experiments on planetary geosciences at the Center for Astrophysics and Space Science on projects in collaboration with the UAE Space Agency and the Mohammed Bin Rashid Space Center.
